"Childrens' Trios - Performing Score" Sheet Music by Friedgund Goettsche-Niessner
With the "Childrens' trios" young flutists are presented with two collections of new instrumental pieces which are supposed to be fun, stimulate the players' imagination and creativity and help them get to know certain contemporary playing techniques. The short stories focus mainly on the story and its plot, while the playing techniques become an integral part of the piece - a means of interpretation like a crescendo or staccato. The study of contemporary playing techniques allows the performers to expand their tonal capabilities and to acquire greater freedom in handling their instrument. And there are new ways of approaching the problems of traditional flute playing. The note material has been arranged in the form of a score to provide better orientation when playing together.
